 Background

Red is an intact male, born in 2011 and living with his family in Pennsylvania.  He is very athletic and an extremely versatile boy, eager to work alongside his owner no matter what the activity.  He is truly an English Shepherd shadow who loves to curl up on the couch with you in the evening.  He does not wander.  He gets along with other dogs on and off the farm.  He is friendly with visitors on the farm as soon as he is told they are a welcome guest(s) and is friendly with people off the farm.

Red has stood in line to run agility and had a dog snap in his face and didn't flinch.  His owner is proud when people ask to sit next to us in classes, because he is well behaved and not reactive to other dogs.  Red has good herding instincts and has worked off farm with sheep.  He removes vermin and chases off predator birds from his area.  He has good judgment and is rule oriented.

Red is an agility dog and loves the sport.  He jumps "big".  He also participates in scent work and can often be seen tracking wildlife and other dogs at a high rate of speed on the farm, while staying in his area.

His owner would like Red to learn to cover his sheep better, (This could be improved if there was livestock on his farm.) and is also caused by looking at his owner for instruction.  He can get a bit excited at home.  When his owner isn't quick enough, he uses his high-pitched bark and spins in a circle at the door when he wants to go outside.
