Whistle is an intact male born in 2009.  He lives with his family on a farm in Oregon.  He works with beef cattle, flighty sheep and goats.  His owners like that Whistle is keen to work, biddable, and calm around stock. He will back off is stock are concerned he is too close, but will stand up to stock that challenge him.  He is powerful, but calm, so stock respond very well to him.  He converts to sheep and goats readily aftern working only cattle.

Whistle came to live with his family when he was five years old and had worked only cattle.  His owners have just begun formal training with him where he works with sheep and goats.  As a chore dog, he couldn't be better.

Whistle is broad and stocky with a natural bobtail.  His movement is smooth and effortless with very fast speed.  He has excellent ability to maneuver with exceptional jumping ability.  His coat is low maintenance that doesn't mat easily.  He has a scissor bite.

Whistle is confident and shows friendly interest towards unfamiliar adults.  He is devoted, watchful and affectionate towards his human family.  He has a fairly active lifestyle with a calm, somewhat impulsive and soft disposition.
