  Owner Joan McClenny

Nelson is an intact male born in April, 2013.  He lives with his owner on a farm in the state of Washington. Nelson works with sheep, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and rabbits.  His owner likes his devotion to her and his love of working.  She would like to improve his recall from a long distance.

Nelson loves people and loves attention.  He also likes to work with his people and looks for ways to please.  He needs initial training and guidance when working with livestock or farm animals (or else he might be too rough).  However, once he has been shown what is appropriate, he can be completely trusted.  He can be intimidating to strangers, but a "best friend" to anyone he knows is okay.
