BackgroundRiley is a sable & white male born in August 2009 and evaluated at one year of age. He has had only limited livestock working experience at this point, but has been around sheep, calves, horses and goats. He is extremely biddable, wants to herd, and has helped gather and move calves on occasion.

Kim writes, "in addition to being very attractive, Riley is the smartest dog I have ever owned. He is very people oriented and wants to please." Riley's desire to be with his owner is so strong that he will go through an underground fence -- and then run the 3 miles to her vet clinic if left at home alone.
