Cedar Creek Koch's Poppy is an intact female born in 2009.  She lives with her owner on a farm in Illinois.  Poppy works with horses and goats.  She is her owner's day-to-day companion.  Poppy protects her owner and keeps constant watch - making sure things are right and in their proper place.  If something is wrong, she will do something about it.  She generally checks with her owner first, but if not available, she will make the correct "fixing" in her way.  Poppy is great with children.  She goes to the office everyday with her owner and then to the barn.  She is great with the goat kids and people in the boarding barn.

Sometimes Poppy will not listen to her owner when she is told no.  She paid a heavy price when a stallion kicked her in the head and broke a back molar that had to be removed.  She had been told to leave him alone.  After that incident, she is learning that when she is told NO it is for a good reason.
