 BackgroundKirchhoff's Clyde is an intact male born in 2008 and evaluated at the age of three.  His lives with his owner on a farm in Missouri where he works with beef cattle, goats, and flighty sheep.  Clyde is a good worker and follows his owner's instructions.  He is an extremely tough dog who can take a kick or bite from livestock or predators and keep on working.  He is a good family dog but will bite strangers and other dogs.  His owner would like for him to be less aggressive around other dogs and some people.

Herding Drive:  Works livestock readily when needed.

Herding Style:  Driving (dog keeps stock grouped while pushing stock away from handler). 

Power:  Livestock are intensely aware of and respect dog at all times.

Clyde has a board, stocky build with a long tail.  He moves smoothly and effortlessly with a very fast speed.  He has excellent ability to maneuver and exceptional (gravity defying) jumping ability.  Clyde's coat is low maintenance/good quality.  He has a level bite.
 Summary of Temperament
Clyde is guarded and mildly aggressive towards unfamiliar adults.  He is devoted, watchful and affectionate toward his human family.  Clyde has a very active lifestyle on the farm.  His disposition is very calm, very steady and hard.
