Rio is a larger sized dog with a long tail.  He can be somewhat intimidating to other dogs and some people, but once he gets to know you, inside he's really a love.  His owner loves his big, blocky size and his head is her favorite physical feature along with his eyes.  Rio has smooth, effortless movement with very fast speed and excellent agility and jumping ability (gravity defying).  His coat is low maintenance and doesn't mat easily.  He has a scissor bite.
 Summary of Temperament
Rio is fairly confident and sociable, but slightly aggressive around unfamiliar adults.  He is devoted, watchful and affectionate to his human family.  His activity level is on the low side.  Rio has a fairly calm, steady and hard disposition.
